2. Data Stored in the App
All your materials, formulas, and settings are stored locally on your device by default.
The app does not upload your personal library, formulas, or custom data to our servers as part of normal usage.
3. External Database Requests
The app may use an internet connection only when you choose to fetch material information from the external database, such as when you search by material name or CAS number.
- Only the query you initiate is sent to retrieve data.
- Your personal library, formulas, and private records are not uploaded as part of this process.
4. Exports and Backups
The app allows you to export data to PDF or Excel files and create backups.
All exported files remain under your control. You are responsible for managing and securing exported files stored outside the app.
5. Subscriptions and Payments
If you purchase a subscription, payments and subscription management are handled by Apple App Store for iOS devices, Google Play Store for Android devices, or Microsoft Store for Windows devices.
We may receive limited subscription status information, such as whether your subscription is active, renewed, cancelled, or expired. We use it to activate subscription features, verify your subscription, fix subscription problems, and improve app reliability.
When needed to operate and verify your subscription, this limited subscription information is sent through an encrypted connection. We do not use subscription information for advertising or targeted marketing.
We do not process or store your payment information directly. Subscription data is managed according to the policies of the respective platform.
6. Data Security, Retention, and Rights
We take reasonable measures to protect the app’s functionality and data integrity. Your local formulas, materials, notes, settings, exports, and backups remain under your control. You are responsible for securing your device and files stored outside the app.
We retain limited subscription and service-observation information only for the purposes described in this policy and for as long as reasonably needed for verification, support, reliability, security, or legal obligations. 9. Supplier Data and Shopify Connections
Formulab Pro may display supplier names, prices, locations, inventory, availability, and product links received from independent suppliers and their Shopify stores. This information is presented for reference and comparison.
The supplier connection is read-only and is limited to the supplier information needed for the service. It does not upload your private formulas, materials, notes, or personal library to the supplier. External suppliers and their stores control their own data and publish their own privacy policies.
